I'm looking for a decent build for Koss
I've tried playing a warrior, but I didn't really like it, so I really know nothing about setting them up. However I've found that with the hero/hench controls its reasonably easy to keep the aggro on him, meaning that if he had a decent setup he would be tanking better than most warriors I've seen (to be fair, its not the warriors fault that he loses aggro because one of the squishes was too close).
So what I'm after is a setup that I can just give him, then leave his skills/equipment alone while still being able to handle as must of Guild Wars as possible. I currently have all factions and prophesies skills unlocked, and I do plan to get UAX with nightfall. So while I would prefer if the build didn't use NF only skills, thats not really too much of an issue.
My control over Koss will likely be limited to "attack" and "run away", so if the hero AI can't handle a build, I'm not interested in that build.

Dragonslash, fill the rest of Koss' skill bar with other Adrenaline skills and enjoy the blood shed.

I really dont see what a lvl 2 has to do with a dragon slash. The adrenalin boost given by it is just too little to have any use. Id take Quivering blade untill Koss is at high level

Ok, this seems the closest to a complete build. But I still have some questions for it:
1 - What attribute balance ?
2 - What other runes and insignias should I stick on his armor ?
3 - What inscriptions and upgrades should I stick on his sword and shield ?
I'm serious when I say that I don't know how to setup a warrior. Though I am wondering why I'm only having people suggesting sword builds, when Koss can run hammers or axes as well.

Don't you have to do some micromanaging to keep mending up on a hero ?

[skill]Healing Signet[/skill][skill]Flail[/skill][skill]Furious Axe[/skill][skill]Dismember[/skill][skill]Whirling Axe[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
He doesn't run the build perfectly, but does well at it. The point is to keep Flail up while spamming Whirling Axe everytime it becomes available. It uses the low-cost Dismember, which is suited well for pve since you'll find yourself jumping from enemy to enemy very fast. Whirling axe is the only energy attack skill on there so you should use it everytime it becomes available. Make sure to put the skills in this order so that he uses em right. You might want to put Healing somewhere else besides the first slot, depending on how confident you are in your monks.
Whirling Axe only has to be used 4 times to do 88 dmg, and with it being only 2 adren and spamming it with Flail, the damage adds up fast.
Use pretty much whatever you want for your other skills. Watch Yourself is a real good choice. Don't forget AI is really good with interrupts, so Distracting Blow is usually sure to always hit.

Depends on how you want Koss to behave, if you want him to go with a monk and kill the mobs to protect a point then he needs a balanced build.
Easiest and a very effective one is:
1.Sever
2.Gash
3.Final Thrust or an Interrupt
4.Berserker Stance
5.Watch Yourself
6.Gladiadtor's Defense [E]
7.Shield's up
8.Rez (sig)
( use berserker so that the recharge time is long enough for him not to waste Glads if that is used 1st.)
If you want damage... this is a good choice...
1.Standing Slash
2.Silverwing Slash
3.Galrath Slash
4.Dragon Slash
5.Savage Slash
6.Endure pain
7.Flail
8.Rez (sig)
Take an interrupt with him as he is very good at stopping spells if he has the energy and the CD.
Mess arround with the skills.

1 - Max out swordsmahship and tactics. Spare points in strength.
2 - Sup or major swordsmanship on helmet, minor tactics, then fill out with vigor and vitae or something. + energy or + health insignias.
3 - Furious or Sundering, 15^50, +armor or +armor vs elemental.
People (well at least me) prefer sword builds for Koss because swords are easy to make pressure builds for, and the AI understands pressure very well. Koss can't really run a hammer efficiently since he doesn't know when to knockdown for best effect. Also he has a problem with stances, so skip those.

So would this setup work with all the sword builds currently posted here ?
If so, then I only need the stats for the shield and I can start acquiring his weapons.

Yes, it would. I would add the best rune of Absorption you are willing to use, so Superior or Major Sword on the helmet, Minor Tactics, Absorption, Vigor, and Minor Strength if you use Flail(or other Strength skills), or Vitae, or whatever.
For insignias, you really only need +energy on the chest and leggings if you use them, the rest can be +health.

If you have the Game of the Year edition, give him the Serrated Shield, otherwise
any Tactics Shield with HP +30 will do. You can craft one (-5/20%, HP+30)right outside Sunspear Sanctuary for 5K plus materials:http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Adamantine_Shield

Agreed. Dragon Slash is great on a hero. Do put Quivering Blade on him if you have a low-level Koss. If he is already level 15+, then there is no reason not to make him a Dragon Slasher.
Regarding some other posts in this thread, Flail does in fact work on Koss, considerably increasing his DPS at the expense of his mobility, and Wild Blow is definitely not recommended, unless there has been an update to Hero AI. The AI will spam Wild Blow as soon as it is available, emptying his energy and adrenaline.
